Specialist Teaching Assistants (Primary)

  • Term Time Only – 35 hours per week

Greys Education Centre is an Alternative Provision Academy providing full-time education for pupils permanently excluded from school, pupils on partnership programmes and pupils who are temporarily unable to attend school full time due to illness.

Greys Education Centre is a ‘Good’ school where pupils ‘behave well’ and reintegration rates back into mainstream school are ‘Outstanding’ – Ofsted 2018.

We require Specialist Teaching Assistants, based at our Primary Provision at Bromham to assist Teachers working with pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties, support their return to school and offer Outreach support to schools.

Maternity Cover - Teacher

Learning Support Assistants

As a team member your role is to support teaching staff and pupils in a wide range of activities during the school day including swimming. Previous experience of working with children with special needs would be an advantage.

The hours are 32.5 per week, term time only, plus 5 training days or twilight sessions.

Salary Level 2AS – Point 4-5
