Greys Education Centre is a Good school where pupils ‘behave well’ and reintegration rates back into mainstream school are ‘Outstanding’ – Ofsted 2014. Our Ofsted report also referred to the school’s ambitions to be ‘world class’.


Facilities and Building Services Manager
Bedford Inclusive Learning & Training Trust

15 hours per week, 52 weeks a year
Grade 9 pts 24 – 27
£11,312 - £12,367 pro rata

BILTT is a growing Multi Academy Trust of specialist provisions, currently including Grey’s Education Centre, St John’s Special School and Grange Academy.  BILTT is building the new Free School in Kempston which will provide education and a range of services for students and families.

We are looking to appoint a highly skilled person to the new part-time, all year role of Facilities and Building Services Manager.  Could you be the person who will move our site services forward as the Trust grows?  We need someone who will:

  • Be a good team player with the ability to motivate.
  • Have excellent practical skills and high standards.
  • Have a good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
  • Be able to demonstrate accurate budget monitoring/reporting and best value.
  • Be able to prioritise own workload and that of others.
  • Have the ability to work under pressure and react effectively in emergency situations.
  • Be flexible, reliable, honest, resilient and positive.

16 hours per week (as part of job share) – School Term Time Only
Salary: 3D (9-14)

Duties will include:

• Delivering impartial and independent Careers & Apprenticeship advice and guidance to KS3 & KS4 pupils
• To provide efficient Admin Support for KS4

Greys Education Centre is a ‘Good’ school where pupils ‘behave well’ and reintegration rates back into mainstream school are ‘Outstanding’ – Ofsted 2018.

We require Specialist Teaching Assistants, based at our Primary Provision at Bromham to assist Teachers working with pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties and to support their return to school.
