Heads of School Welcome

Welcome to our Academy and our Web-site. We are currently commissioned by schools across Bedford and the Bedford Local Authority to provide education for pupils of statutory school age who are ill, permanently excluded or need extra support through our Partnership Programme or HUB.

We are based on three sites:

  • Primary Provision – years 1 – 6 – at Bromham
  • Secondary Provision – years 7 – 11 – at Kempston
  • Hospital Provision – years 1 – 11 – Bedford Hospital

We also provide outreach support to schools and families through the HUB and Hospital Education teams.

All our staff have specialist areas of knowledge and expertise and this ensures a vibrant, personalised curriculum offer is at the centre of all we do. We are proud of the achievements of our pupils, the commitment of our staff and the support of our parents / carers and the way we work with the wider community we serve

We have recently been a founding member of Bedford Inclusive Learning and Training Trust which now includes three schools. This is a journey we are excited about as the Trust was formed to enhance provision and outcomes for all our pupils and families.

We are constantly striving to improve all aspects of what we do and how we do it – ‘World Class’ and ‘Outstanding’ describe our aspirations and our journey. If you think you are able to contribute to this journey in any way please contact the Executive Principal and Chief Executive Officer - Catherine Assink or Chair of the Trust Board – Kevin Green on 01234 408477.
