We are proud to announce that Greys Education Centre has achieved the Rainbow Flag Award including numerous evidence being classed as exemplary and best practice.

Over the past year Greys Education Centre has been working tirelessly to achieve this award.

This involved six detailed units which included specific pastoral training for an LGBTQ+ staff ambassador, updating our school policies, planning and delivering a fully inclusive curriculum, student voice, cascading training to all staff members and supportive governors and parents.

It is finally awarded to education providers across the country who have evidenced and demonstrated a whole school approach to the positive inclusion and visibility of LGBTQ+ people and who have also shown a commitment to the eradication of LGBTphobic bullying.

I am sure you will agree this is a wonderful example of Greys Education Centre’s commitment to provide an inclusive and positive environment for all our students.
